Ted Williams: An American Original

We’re just a couple of Hub fans, Ben Bradlee, Jr. and I, sitting in the dugout at Fenway Park (not really; we’re in Ben’s house in Cambridge on Marathon Monday), yammering and trading stories about our beloved baseball hero, Ted Williams. Ben has written a massive biography of The Kid (called The Kid), and I devoured every word. Our conversation ranged from the literary to to the musical to the sublime.
